Aakar is a hybrid social enterprise comprised of Aakar Innovations and Aakar Social Ventures. Through Aakar Innovations, we enable women to produce and distribute affordable, high-quality, ~100% compostable sanitary napkins within their communities. To facilitate this, Aakar Social raises awareness regarding Menstrual Health Management (MHM) and aims to sensitise communities to the importance of feminine hygiene through education programmes.
